Raccoons in Oklahoma: where to look and what signs to watch for

Raccoons are most likely near water: rivers, lakes, marshes, and streams. In Oklahoma, check the Red River Valley, Lake Texoma, and wooded creeks in the eastern part of the state. They also adapt to suburban neighborhoods with easy trash or pet food.
